For buyers
Shop without the back-and-forth.
Whether it’s a shirt, a perfume or a phone, buying from another student shouldn’t take ten DMs and a leap of faith. On Kampus Plug, the answers are on the listing and your money is held until you confirm your order.
- “How much?”
- The price is on every listing.
- “Is it still available?”
- Stock is shown, and sold-out items say so.
- “Where are you?”
- Choose a delivery point at checkout and see the fee before you pay.
- “Is this seller legit?”
- Shops are approved before they can list products.
- “I’ll send it tomorrow.”
- Your money is held until you confirm delivery.
How your money is protected
When you check out, your payment is held, not sent to the vendor. It only moves when you give the vendor your code.
Changed your mind? Cancel before it’s out for delivery for a full refund. The same goes if the vendor rejects your order.
- 1
You pay

The vendor accepts
If they reject the order instead, you get a full refund.
- 3
Out for delivery
The vendor brings it to your delivery point, or you pick it up.
- 4
Delivered
The vendor marks it delivered and we email you a 6-digit code.

You confirm

The vendor gets paid
Your code releases the payment, and we send it to the vendor’s bank account.

Sell from a shop, not a status.
You post your product on WhatsApp status. Only your 1,500 contacts see it, and only for 24 hours. Views drop over time as people get tired of sales posts.

Fairly used
Turn what you don’t use into cash.
The phone in your drawer. Last semester’s textbooks. The fan you replaced. Someone on your campus needs them and would rather pay a student than buy new.
- 1
Post it in a minute
Add a few photos, pick the condition and set your price. You see exactly what you’ll receive before it goes live.
- 2
Let buyers make offers
Accept the best one, counter the rest, or set your lowest price and we’ll turn down lowballs for you.
- 3
Get paid at the handover
Buyers pay before you meet. Hand it over on campus, enter their code, and we send the money to your bank account.
Free to list. No shop needed.
For buyers
Pay less for what you need.
Phones, laptops, textbooks and hostel essentials from students on your campus, for less than new. You pay through Kampus Plug, and the seller only gets the money once it’s in your hands.

FAQ
Before you buy or sell.

How does Kampus Plug keep my money safe?
When you pay, Kampus Plug holds your money. It isn’t sent to the vendor. Once your order is delivered, we email you a 6-digit code. Give it to the vendor when you have your order, and that releases the payment.
What if the vendor doesn’t deliver?
If the vendor rejects your order, or you cancel before it’s out for delivery, you get a full refund to your wallet. After that, the vendor still can’t be paid without your code, so only share it once you have your order. If anything goes wrong, email support@kampusplug.com.
How do I pay?
You pay from your Kampus Plug wallet. Top it up by bank transfer, card or USSD, and the money is there when you check out.
How does delivery work?
Each vendor sets their own delivery points and what each one costs. You pick one at checkout and see the delivery fee before you pay. Some vendors also deliver to an address you enter.
When do vendors get paid?
As soon as the buyer gives them their completion code. We then send the money to the vendor’s bank account.
How do I start selling?
Create an account, then open your shop with your shop name, what you sell, a pickup point and your phone number. Once your shop is approved, you can list products with photos, video, prices and stock.
Can I sell something without opening a shop?
Yes. With Fairly used, any student can sell things they no longer need, like a phone, a fan or last semester’s textbooks. Add photos and a price, and it’s live in about a minute. Buyers can make offers, and you’re paid when you hand the item over.
Is it safe to buy fairly used items from other students?
Yes. You pay through Kampus Plug and we hold the money. You meet the seller on campus, check the item, and only then show them your code, which releases the payment. If something is wrong, report it before you share your code and we’ll hold the money while we sort it out.
Which campuses is Kampus Plug on?
Kampus Plug is live at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa, and we’re adding campuses one at a time. Want us at your school? Send us a DM on Instagram.
